Figure Skating

The Aspire program marks the transition from skater to figure skater and teaches athletes of all ages the skills they need to make the most out of their figure skating journey. From tips for practicing on your own to a repeatable off-ice warm-up, resources from the Aspire program will help you become the best skater you can be.

Aspire offers skaters an affordable, comprehensive package program in a safe and supportive group training environment. Skaters will learn proper skill development and training techniques while sampling different skating opportunities and fine-tuning their fundamental skating skills.

Figure Skating

ASPIRE - FALL 2 SESSION

NOVEMBER 1 - DECEMBER 20

(no class on 11/8 nor 11/29)
FRIDAYS from 5:00-6:30p 
 

Each 6-week session includes 80 minutes of instruction weekly.

5:00-5:30p: Off-Ice
Off-Ice Program consists of  dynamic warm up, along with ballet, stretch/yoga and off-ice jumps.  Off-ice classes will rotate weekly

​

5:40-6:30p: On-Ice

On-Ice Program consists of 50 minutes of on-ice instructor.  Participants are divided into groups based on skill level, covering spins, edges, jumps and a rotation of specialty class.

The WHOLE Skater:  ASPIRE features a character development aspect.  Skaters earn badges as they show the core values of Aspire: Attitude, Sportsmanship, Perseverance, Integrity, Respect, Effort.   Skaters can be nominated by peers or coaches for their Aspire badges.

The Aspire Program offers smaller class sizes with instruction tailored to your students current skating level.

Aspire Parent Sessions: As the parent or guardian of an aspiring figure skater, you play a major role in shaping a skater’s career. Throughout the session, there will be a 15-20 minute informational sessions covering a variety of skating topics.
